Overview

Artworks QA testers are responsible for directly following up with Technical Artists/Art Directors for testing, and Asset verification, and responding to requests from the Artworks Team. As a member of the Quality Verification team you will become a specialist for your area and be able to look for issues in the visual aspect of the game, and be the guardian of clarity and quality of art assets loaded into the game.

Responsibilities

  • Asset verification within the game
  • Find and report bugs/issues to Artworks
  • Maintain the Quality Assurance pipeline from discovery through a fix to regression verification
  • Create and follow Test Plans and Verifications
  • Provide Qualitative feedback regarding the Visual aspect of the product
  • Follow up with development and testing partners to ensure bugs are being logged and resolved
  • Maintain Bug Database in DevTrack

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in Visual Effects, Graphics & Animation, 3D technology
  • Understand visual language, color schemes, depth of images, textures and frames, Lighting and able to converse easily with Artists on these topics
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to meet responsibilities without constant supervision
  • Strong written, verbal communication and general PC use / MS Office skills
  • Strong observational skills, should have the ‘Eye’ for details
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and features
  • Proficient use of current generation video gaming consoles
  • Flexible and team-oriented. Should have a good interpersonal and follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to work in group settings under high-pressure and provide quick turn-arounds on test requests
