We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to partner with our development teams to create and deploy technical testing and test automation where yesterday’s best practices are not necessarily tomorrow’s solutions. You will debug complex problems and breathe new life into technical roadblocks, working with development teams to ensure existing and new features run smoothly and work effectively. With no bug too small, you understand that creating seamless testing solutions is the key to defect prevention, not simply defect detection.

Responsibilities

  • Writing Automation in C#
  • Executes test strategy in area assigned; develops test cases for specific features
  • Clarifies how features should work to eliminate ambiguous requirements
  • Writes and uses regressions tests
  • Provide feedback on testability during design reviews
  • Proactively reviews his/her test plans for completeness with leads
  • Develops, utilize and explore the latest testing tools
  • Leverages test automation tools to create efficiencies and drive quality
  • Prioritizes assigned bugs with supervision from lead
  • Takes responsibility for all tasks related to his/her assigned features
  • Demonstrates ad-hoc testing
  • Design and performs performance/load tests; interprets and acts on results
  • Develops and executes automated unit testing suites.

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • A strong understanding of testing methodologies
  • Ideally started in QA and went back to school
  • Experienced building comprehensive test strategies
  • 2+ years’ professional experience with a solid proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, Javascript, and SQL
  • Primary focus being writing code in C#
  • Able to quickly adapt to new systems and learn in-house tools
  • Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills
  • Understanding Software Development Life-Cycle processes
  • Experience with version control and build systems
  • Looking for advancement
